My name is Ashlee and I am currently a student at the University of Nevada Reno. Growing up I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada with my two brothers and younger sister. I competed in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading for over 12 years and came to have a very strong passion for both! Today I am a very busy student but I still make it a priority to find time for the activities and interests that I love doing. Some of these activities include, swimming, yoga, hiking, biking and running! I work with my university to do research on children and their families in the City of Reno, which is something that I love learning about! One of my favorite hobbies is cooking/baking! I am vegan so one of my dreams would be to have a vegan/vegetarian cooking show to spread the word about how great it is! Some other activities that I enjoy doing include camping, skiing, reading, and hanging out with my baby sister. Im very interested in becoming a teacher and after that my dream job would be becoming an astronaut, which is something that I am working towards right now! After I earn my Bachelors degree I plan on joining the air force to gain piloting experience and to serve my country. From there I will continue to pursue my astronomical dreams!
