Education
I am a Sophomore Biology Major with a minor in general music at the University of Nevada in Reno. My instrumental focus in my minor is flute. I do have a focus on premedical studies as well and with my degree hope to continue on to medical school and work with children, most likely as a general pediatrician or family doctor.
Experience
I have had 2 large past tutoring experiences one sitting in on a math class and tutoring Algebra 1/2 and another tutoring an individual on flute. I have received the IB certificate for History of the Americas (HL), Biology (HL) and English A Language and Literature (HL) and have also taken Chemistry SL. I have taken in the past all classes that fulfilled the University of California, California State University, and NSHE requirements as well as both the SAT and ACT and did fairly well on both (1640 old scale SAT and 28 ACT). I want to be a tutor to gain more experience working with people of various ages and to help others succeed. I also have around 4 years of babysitting experience on top of my tutoring experience. I am also a member of the American Medical Students Association.
