I've worked extensively with children as both a tutor and mentor with over 500 hours working with the children's programs at both the Safe Embrace Women's Shelter and CAAW women's shelters as well as over 300 hours at the local Boys and Girls Clubs. I've taught private violin to students aged 5 to 17 the past few years. I was concertmaster of the Reno Philharmonic Youth Symphony 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2013. I attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Concert Orchestra program for violin in 2011 and was accepted into the Meadowmount School of Music Summer Music Program for Violin in 2012.
