Retired professor from Univ. of Nevada, RenoR. I have had much experience with tutoring students of various ages: college students, adults, and high school juniors and seniors. My experience also includes grading national AP Spanish Literature exams, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Egypt, Spain, and California, plus high school Spanish, before returning to graduate school for my PhD. I very much enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis and know that I can help any interested student to improve his/her understanding of Spanish, English as a Second Language, or Core Humanities. I meet with students in public locations--usually coffee shops or libraries--either at UNR or public libraries in the Reno/Sparks area. Please note that I do not go to the homes of students.

Hobbies
Local musician/jazz singer with my husband in the Reno/Carson/Tahoe area. My strongest interests are in music (mostly jazz, classical, and Latin) and all kinds of art. I enjoy movies and theater and watching sports from time to time, and I do love to travel. I also do free-lance translating and interpreting for various local companies, as well as online classes (Core Humanities, Don Quixote in English, Latin American literature, international short story, etc.).
