Long-term substitute at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School for Junior year English/Honors English/Creative Writing. 3rd grade reading tutor I want to be a tutor because I am greatly interested in the educational field. I plan to go on to get my Master's Degree in English so I will be qualified to teach high school as well as elementary school. I enjoy one-on-one tutoring because I think that it can be highly beneficial to a child who is having difficulties in certain subjects. Since I got my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, I have taken many education-based classes. Among these classes are practicum classes where I observed and taught at several different elementary schools. In addition to this, I did my student teaching at Jessie Beck Elementary School for a 5th/6th combination class in Spring of 2013. I have my teaching license as well as my substitute license and am highly qualified for this position. I have a lot of experience with both high schoolers and elementary schoolers and I am confident I can give the results that you are looking for.
