All I have left is to write my thesis and student teach to obtain my Nevada Teacher Certification for teaching secondary Spanish.
Experience
I studied in Spain for 1 year on the University of Nevada Basque Studies program. When I returned, I attended University of Wisconsin and earned my BA Spanish exiting with a 3.9 GPA. I am currently 95% done with my Masters in Teaching from Sierra Nevada College with a career total 3.8 GPA. All I need is to student teach in the Fall to be certified to teach secondary Spanish in Nevada. For the last two years I have been substitute teaching full-time for Washoe County School District. To obtain my substitute teaching position I was required to pass strict FBI background checks. I am well known at many Reno schools and can provide references.
