Experience
I tutored regularly whilst I still lived in the UK. I have taught History, English and religious studies. During my Master's degree at William and Mary I was an assistant teacher for a number of history classes. With my combination of having taught in both the UK and US I believe I can offer a slightly different teaching experience which helps students to stand out. Above all I want to help their grades; a perspective which is not exactly the same as all other teachers or tutors can both help with this and offer some variety to them. I got straight A's at all levels of high school in the UK. At Oxford my final score was the equivalent of a 3.6 GPA. I want to help people get better at the subjects I teach, and to enjoy themselves why they do it. Helping people to succeed is the number one aim. However, so many teachers make learning or improving a chore and thus crush interest in their subject. I aim to combine both grade improvement with boosting my students' interest in the subjects I tutor.
